Looking for a fun, different activity for a group? Our DIY Rainbow Wrapping Workshops are great for craft nights, birthday parties, team building or any excuse to get a group together for some crafting fun. 

In this beginner workshop, explore color, play with fiber and create your very own unique rainbow wall hanging. You will be introduced to a fun hand-wrapping and shaping rainbow workshop where you can create your own fiber rainbow. Working with cotton rope, a variety of colorful yarns, and a few additional tools and supplies, you’ll be supplied with everything needed to make a 7x7" fiber rainbow to hang on your wall to brighten any space.

Learn the insider tips and tricks for a neat and secure wrap and finished assembly. Once you master wrapping, the sky’s the limit to the shapes and objects you can make. No prior experience is needed for this workshop, just a spirit of creativity!

All supplies will be provided.
 
Details: 
  1. Guests should be age 10 and over with their own rainbow kit. Kids ages 4-9 are fantastic rainbow wrappers and should plan to share a kit with an adult.
  2. Private workshops are $50/ person. Business hosted workshops are $50+ and will be discussed further. 
  3. We have several colorways are available to choose from or if custom colors are of interest, this would be an additional $2 per kit.
  4. Workshops last anywhere between 1.5 - 2.5 hours, depending on guest count.
  5. We will be using a hot glue gun and professional, sharp fabric scissors. A Branch & Cord is not liable for injuries. 
  6. Workshop space is not provided by A Branch & Cord.
  7. We typically like to bring small displays of our completed work to have available for guests to purchase. Please let us know if this is not allowed. 
  8. Depending on the event type and if allowed, we like to partner with local charcuterie businesses to offer add on charcuterie cups starting at $6.
  9. Private workshop fees are due in full 3 days before the event date. Alternatively, we can set up a registration link on our website for your guests to be able to pick colors and pay themselves. Business hosted workshop registration process is encouraged to be managed by the business and the final total paid to A Branch & Cord via cash or check at the time of the workshop. 
  10. Workshops are non refundable 24 hours before event time. If a guest has paid, it's under the 24 hour mark and they cannot join, their kit (with instructions included) can be mailed or picked up from the host or in Wilsonville).
